The Deception

I liked this short story very much. Although “ the book should go farther though to see what happens after they go home and what the dad does to Eli. There are many reasons why this book is realistic, the plotline goes along with irony.

This story is realistic because the main Eli lies to his parents and he doesn’t tell them, and he lied to them because he knew he had bad grades because his parents would be mad at him. Another thing that is realistic about this story is that his parents don’t find out that he lied right away. The last reason is that in the end of the book his parents are clueless about him ripping up the note that was sent home and then his parents got very mad at him.

The short story follows the plotline of irony because there is chaos in the very beginning, because he ripped up the note that his parents were supposed to get. Then Eli
tries to fight for sanity because he doesn’t want to get in huge trouble. Then there is
also a dominant force which is Dr. Remezel because he is in control of Eli. And then
ends with them just walking out because they don’t know what else to do.

So over all I liked the short story very much and I would recommend this to
someone who needed something to read. The story followed the exact plotline of irony
except it was realistic otherwise it was fine. I would read this again if I was bored
and I didn’t know what to do because it was that good f a short story.

I liked the first dya of school because we got our laptop and we got to sit around all day. What i didn't really like about the first day of school was that we didn't get to meet any of our teachers and we that we had to take a tour of the school even thought everyone except the new kids so i don't get why they couldn't have just taken the new kids on a tour of the school.
